Good Morning Thrifty Cyclists and Thriftainistas...
Couple of interesting freebies today...
When I saw this freebie, I thought what a weird thing and who would want that but I clicked it anyway. California Walnuts has a lot of freebies PDFs but the most interesting and useful one is The Portion Plate Tool. It actually gives a visual representation of what should be on a healthy plate.

Free sample of Flix Dental Stick...let's face it we want to be fit but healthy too and that means our toofers, too. (Yes, I know that is incorrect but sometimes I like to be a little silly).
From their website, "Flix is a revolutionary Interdental Stick and Floss in One! It is a perfect product for people on the go, and for people who are concerned about their proper daily oral care, but who don’t like to floss on a regular basis. You don’t need to be orally obsessive to want a perfect bacteria-free mouth, and Flix is one of the fastest, easiest ways to achieve this goal of mouth nirvana."

Now, one more thrifty brag and always feel free to share yours, too. Finding a good bargain is like winning a little victory and feels good to share!
Yesterday, I went to one of my favorite places, Kohl's! Yes, my friend, Hal, swears I have a reserved parking spot there, Target and Wal-Mart...this may be true and if I could actually make a living shopping I would be so RICH. For the past few months I have been keeping my eye on this cute red jacket. It was $200. It had been marked down to 60, 70, and now 80% off. Still 80% wasn't enough...well, as nice as Kohl's is, they sent me a 30% off coupon and then the jacket that I have been watching for literally months was $28!! Not to mention since I went on the last day of Kohl's Cash, I got $10 back. Gotta love it! Tried to find a photo but no such luck!
Got a message from my Mom today about learning my thrifty shopping from the best...yes, that is true. My Mom is the best at finding a deal, my Nana taught me to look around three times if needed, and my Mother-In-Law taught me to be patient because it will usually go on sale!!! Thanks Mom! Thanks Nana! Thanks Mom D.!
None of the products or photos here are my property. They belong to their respective companies!
